Process to Configure Outlook Express For mail
Configure Outlook Express by below steps
- Click on Start>Programs>OutlookExps (Outlook Express)
Now, click on Tools>Accounts - Click on Add, and again click on Mails
- A new page will be Displayed,
Type the Desired Display Name like, Bolanmol, ihdkbn etc for your mail id and click on Next - Now Type your full mail id for which you want to configure outlook Exps like, bolanmol@bol.net.in and click on Next
- Now Select POP3 Server
Now fill the Desired Incoming and Outgoing mail Servers in the given options & click on Next
Note :”Incoming and outgoing mail servers are different for Different mail ids like for Gmail its Pop.gmail.com & Smtp.gmail.com Even their Port Numbers are different” - Now Enter the Exact password of your mail id through which you are configuring outlook Exps
It means, password of your mail in and outlook exps must be same
Now click on Next - Now click on Finish
- Now Select your Account and click on Properties
- Click on Server Tab
Now in the Last option make a check mark on My Server Require Authentication
Click on Advanced Tab & Enter the desired port Numbers for incoming and outgoing mails
For Mtnl its 25 and 110
For Gmail its 465 and 995 with tick on both SSL
Click on Apply then Click on OK - Click on Close in Internet Accounts Dialog Box
- Now Click on Send And Recieve
After Entering the password, the mails will be start transferring from your mail id to your Outlook Exps Account - You have successfully created your outlook Express account
